Our firm has a long history of providing excellent accounting services to its clients in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Gordon Chase, CPA and Richard Lochen, CPA are the founding partners of two successful offices, one in Tunkhannock and another in Nicholson. Mr. Chase oversees the Tunkhannock office with the professionalism and quality that our clients have come to expect. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has over 25 years of accounting experience and knowledge. Mr. Lochen directs the Nicholson office in completing tasks with our client’s best interest in mind. He, too, is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has over 25 years of accounting experience and knowledge.

At Lochen & Chase, we believe you also deserve a staff that is knowledgeable and experienced with current financial practices and expertise. CPA Melinda Shannon’s Masters in Business Administration provides a high level of expertise in analyzing business endeavors. Ongoing quality service has generated additional business which allows us to continue to grow. In addition to our CPAs, we also employ staff accountants, an office manager, and paraprofessionals. Our staff believes in the importance of continuing education to ensure current, up-to-date knowledge in an ever-changing environment. Our staff accountants, in particular, continue to take courses beyond their 4-year degree, and are encouraged to work toward their own CPA certification.
